Aware of the extreme importance of risk prevention for all people working in MELFOSUR and performing our work in a safe way avoiding any damage in our customers’ grids, workplace safety is the first goal in our company.
For that purpose, we are certified and registered according to the OSHAS 18001:2007rule.
We also count on the external and constant collaboration of AREMAT, which is a Workplace Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Applied Psychology Centre authorized by the Andalusian Government. Furthermore, within our staff there are three Workplace Safety Technicians who carry out periodical safety inspections of all our works, promote lifelong learning and coordinate the appropriate update of work procedures.
All our personnel has received Workplace Safety and Risk Prevention training (basic), Electrical risk and Construction Work Management training, First Aid and Working at Height training, etc. In addition, 75% of our personnel is qualified as a MV-LV distribution network agent, which implies a continuous update.
MELFOSUR conducts periodical monitoring of all the works done by internal safety inspections, identifying possible faults and applying the appropriate measures to correct them. For that purpose, it is essential that all our personnel gets involved in the safety and risk prevention.
